Our Ingredient Philosophy

Soap should be simple. Oils. Lye. Time.

Our bars are developed to meet strict ingredient standards and are crafted in partnership with U.S.-based artisan soapmakers using traditional cold-process methods.

We focus on responsibly sourced plant oils, sustainable palm certifications, and time-tested soapmaking — not synthetic detergents or unnecessary additives.

What Goes Into Real Soap

Each 5oz bar is made using cold-process saponification — the traditional method of turning oils into soap.

Organic Olive Oil

A foundational oil known for its mild cleansing properties and conditioning feel.

Organic Sunflower Oil

Balances the bar and contributes to a clean rinse.

Fair Trade Organic Shea Butter

Adds firmness and creamy lather while supporting smallholder communities.

Sustainable Palm Done Right® Palm Oil

Certified deforestation-free and Fair Trade. Provides durability and longevity to the bar.

Palm Kernel & Coconut Oil

Support lather and structure.

Unrefined Hemp Oil (Select Varieties)

Used in certain formulas for distinctive texture and fatty acid profile.

No Synthetic Detergents

Our soaps are made from saponified oils — not synthetic surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES).

Fragrance & Essential Oils

Depending on the variety, formulations may include essential oils, natural fragrance blends, or cosmetic-grade fragrance oils.

Ingredient transparency matters. Individual skin types vary.

Activated Charcoal

Select varieties include activated charcoal sourced from sustainably grown hardwood and produced under regulated forestry oversight.
